Digital Color Ink, LLC was established in 2002 by two industry professionals, Jay Udovich and Carew Alley. With over 35 years of experience and knowledge each, they set out to establish a company that strives to exceed their customers’ needs. Correction - not our customer’s…our valued partners. We have grown a lot in 17 years. We have had three locations and with every move we have expanded to stock more products for your immediate needs. We have gone from a webpage to an e-commerce easy to order on-line website. We have added a team of knowledgeable experts to serve you. We value every relationship we have made on our journey and look forward to making many more successful partnerships in the future.

Jay aka- Flash- is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. He is a leader who applies his athletic background to his work. His cool, calm, and patient demeanor comes from his days as a long-distance runner at Salisbury University. Flash is what we call him- he is also a nice guy and a family man!
As the Marketing Coordinator, Quinn manages Digital Color Ink's website and creates the majority of our marketing material, a task she thoroughly enjoys. Like Spider Gwen, Quinn is a team player and always strives to be a valuable asset to her team. Mutlilingual, she's also a fierce traveler who loves to explore other worlds outside of the country. She also enjoys creating 3D animations and model rigging.
Like Black Widow, Katie is loyal and holds those closest to her to the same expectations she has for herself. Katie’s confidence and strength puts her at superhero status just like Black Widow. They both share the same goal-oriented personality, sacrificing their own comfort for the efficiency of their coworkers and customers or greater good of the world. Katie is resourceful, charismatic and selfless which makes her a powerful member of the team always making sure that customers are being treated fairly and with the utmost respect! When Katie isn’t helping customers make smart product choices, she can be found raising her children and spending family time.
Just like Storm, Francine is a strong-willed woman and a force to be reckoned with. Francine is extremely passionate about those in her community just as Storm is passionate about fighting for peace and equal rights of her fellow mutant humans. In addition, Francine enjoys being on a team and stepping up into a leadership position, often assisting and learning new abilities from her peers and coworkers. As a nature lover, Francine enjoys spending her time in the North Carolina sun and attending to her garden.
Just like Quicksilver, Stevie D appears to have superhuman speed and strength. As our Charlotte Lead Operations, he’s quick when it comes to delivering and packaging orders for our customers. In addition to having superhuman speed, Stevie D uses his raw strength to lift the heavy rolls off our warehouse shelves. Even with his extreme quickness, Stevie D pays high attention to detail to ensure each customer is receiving their exact order. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and learning about the latest technology.
Steve is the Managing Partner for our Charlotte Branch. He has a background in adhesive and ink development. Just like Wolverine, you could say Steve has mutant abilities when it comes to ink and adhesive developments as an author of 4 patents in adhesives, inks, and ink jet printing. In his free time, you can catch our very own Wolverine on his Harley and spending time with his family.
The true Wonder Woman of the team—as an industry veteran of over 30 years, Carew is a pro-active leader known to think ahead, stay organized, pay attention to detail, and is always prepared. And like Wonder Woman herself, Carew is a huge dog lover. A lover of all animals, to be exact—with a history of taking in and raising rescued animals.
When Dave’s not lifting heavy boxes, storing inbound stock, processing orders, or scaling through our tall racks in the warehouse, like Spiderman, he loves spending time with his son. Although he’s never actually been bitten by a radioactive spider, Dave is fearless in delivering orders to customers and has a keen sense of humor. He’s also a real practical joker.
They call him their resident geek because of his 15 years of expertise in the industry. Frank is there for all tech. needs, that’s why he is the team’s Iron Man—a true professional when it comes to tech work the team needs done, but aren’t well-versed in. He also enjoys bowling.
Nancy is the backbone of the team and she’s one tough lady at that. She comes from a Tobacco farm in Upper Marlboro, and is one of two girls, out of nine. She does a lot for the team behind the scenes, that’s why she’s the team’s Invisible Woman because of her “invisible” behind the scenes work that the team can’t function without.
